An ice cream sundae bar is an easy summer party treat. You can even make your own ice cream. Here are some of the toppings you can add to your sundae bar:
Nuts (check with your guests to make sure no one is allergic to nuts), hot fudge, peanut butter topping, caramel, strawberries, peaches, bananas, chopped cookies, chopped candies, cherries, chocolate chips, whipped topping, mini chocolate bars, and sprinkles.
You can offer several flavors of ice cream, and let your guests serve themselves. A sundae bar would be great for summer birthday parties, backyard barbecues, cookouts, family reunions, poolside parties, graduations, or just because.
Here’s a quick video how to for a basic sundae. Yum!

Oh yummmm….I love ice cream and homemade is the very best. We once made a homemade strawberry-peach ice cream with fresh fruit and it was soooo good. That is now my very favorite ice cream. I think to actually use it in a sundae would be even better! LOL
Brenda-Strawberry-peach homemade ice cream sounds wonderful this time of year:)
What a fun idea! Thanks.
i heart this idea!!! ice cream is my fave, but my best friend is lactosintolerant. any suggestions???
Linea,
Offer soy ice cream, Soy Dream is my favorite brand. It’s hard to find, but most major supermarkets at least have vanilla. It may be with the ice cream, or in the health food/ organic section if they have a freezer. It’s a great alternative for lactose intolerant children. My son loves it, and he’s super picky about his food.
