Movember is a global charity event that invites men to grow mustaches (or Mos, as the Aussies say) for the month of November, and while doing so, raise funds and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer. Testicular cancer is the most common cancer afflicting men aged 18-35 and prostate cancer will affect 1 in 6 men.
Why not gather some friends together to help raise awareness in your area this month. You can put together a walk or event to help others become aware of the importance of regular screenings.

Fall Cocktail Recipes With a Kick

We’ve had some great fall cocktail recipes over the last couple weeks. Today I have 3 more for you, only these have a little kick to them, courtesy of Tabasco.
My husband would enjoy these recipes, he’s a put Tabasco in everything kind of person. I’m not sure he eats anything without adding a drop or two.
I think the Spiced Mulled Cider sounds delicious for a cool fall evening. I love mulled cider this time of year, so I may have to give this recipe a try.

I have a wonderful cocktail recipe for this time of year when cherry season is just finishing up, it would also work equally well to add a splash of flavor and color to your fall harvest party. It would also make a fun signature drink for a cherry blossom party or wedding theme.
Grandma’s Cherry Pie
1 ½ oz. Three-O Cherry Vodka
½ oz. white crème de cacao
1 ½ oz. brandy
½ oz. cream
Combine ingredients with ice. Stir and garnish with a cherry.

Frozen Cocktails For Summer~ Cashew Batida

I have a yummy frozen cocktail for your summer parties. You can use it to put the white in your red, white and blue for the 4th of July.
What is a batida? A Batida is a Brazilian fruit cocktail made with cachaça, a sugarcane liquor from Brazil. Batidas make wonderful cocktails for summer parties because they’re light, fruity, and frozen.

Cashew Batida
2 oz. Leblon Cachaça
½ oz. Condensed milk
1 tsp. Cashew nut paste
Glass-Rocks
Method
Pour Leblon Cachaça and other ingredients into
a blender and blend until you have a smooth

I have some delicious summer cocktail recipes for you from Cruzan Rum. I recently had a chance to sample some of the flavored Cruzan Rums.
Cruzan fruit flavors are all natural and flavored with cane sugar. They make excellent variations on cocktails, dessert toppings and food recipes that call for rich fruit flavors. Their flavors include black cherry, citrus, coconut, mango, pineapple, raspberry, vanilla, guava.
