Plan a Fall Hayride and Bonfire

A friend of ours has a hayride and a bonfire every fall, and it’s tons of fun for the adults and for the kids. We all bring a covered dish. but we also cook over the bonfire.
The dishes are all set up on a makeshift table made from boards and logs back by the fire ring.
Some of the kid’s favorites to cook on the bonfire include:
Hot dogs, don’t forget the mustard, ketchup, and buns!
Marshmallows for S’mores
Campfire pizza and dessert pies
We ride in the tractor pulled hay wagon back to the campfire, then set everything up.

In the fall and winter I like to spice up my parties, and since I’m a big fan of Southwestern cuisine I love spicy nachos, quesadillas, salsas, and guacamole dips. I love avocados, my favorite snack is avocados and corn chips, so whenever I find a new recipe for guacamole, or one that incorporates avocado I have to give it a try.
