I’m a big party mix fan, because you can mix and match so many fun flavors and come up with a different combination every time. You can make a sweet mix, savory, spicy, or hot whatever your taste buds are hungry for.
Last year I posted this recipe for a harvest party snack mix, but today I wanted to share a few more ideas you can mix and match.
Make a sweet mix with any combination of sweet cereal, candy corn, candy pumpkins, or nuts.

I haven’t rounded up all the fun things there are to celebrate in September yet, but when I do, I’ll make sure I include International Bacon Day on the list. Today I have a delicious appetizer idea featuring bacon.
You can use this recipe to celebrate Bacon Day, or for any of your other fall celebrations. I think it would be a wonderful recipe for a football party. You could switch it up and serve it on some homemade corn chips.

Caramel Apple Pie Cocktail Recipe

It’s apple season around here, time for apple pies, caramel apples, apple cake, everything apple sounds good this time of year. It’s also time to start thinking about those fall harvest parties, and what’s on the menu. I have a fabulous caramel apple pie cocktail recipe to share with you today from Three Olives Vodka.
Caramel Apple Pie
1 oz. 1800 Silver Tequila
½ oz. butterscotch schnapps
1 oz. apple cider
1 tsp. lemon juice
Combine ingredients and shake well with ice, strain into martini glass. Garnish with an apple slice.

In the fall and winter I like to spice up my parties, and since I’m a big fan of Southwestern cuisine I love spicy nachos, quesadillas, salsas, and guacamole dips. I love avocados, my favorite snack is avocados and corn chips, so whenever I find a new recipe for guacamole, or one that incorporates avocado I have to give it a try.
