Thinking Ahead For Fall Parties

It’s hard to think about fall during July when the temperatures are in the 80’s and 90’s, but it will be here before you know it. If you’re planning a fall party for Halloween or to celebrate the harvest, now is the time to start planning. Here are some things you should start considering so your fall party doesn’t sneak up on you.

- Will you be hosting your party at your home, or do you need to look at venues to host your party?
- Start putting together your guest list, you’ll need to send out invitations at least a month ahead of time, and order or pick out your invitations at least two months ahead of time and start addressing.
- What will you need to decorate? Now is a great time to plan for your fall party decorations. You can dry some flowers, grow a few pumpkins, make a scarecrow from fresh straw, pot up some fall flowers, or grow some gourds for a cornucopia.
- Start planning your menu, will you need your guests to bring anything, or will you provide all the food yourself?
Are you planning a fall party or event?

I am planning a fall baby shower with the theme “Apple of My Eye”. I have the invites and already know what the menu and favors are going to be. I am having a problem figuring out some activities. I was hoping to do something a little different than your typical baby shower games. If anyone has any good ideas, I would love to hear them! Thank you!
