Time For Some Fair Food!

Gayla over at Guerilla Parenting was talking about her county fair the other day, and it made me start thinking about fair food. Yum! So I thought I’d round up some fair food recipes. These recipes would also be great for a summer block party, carnival, or a carnival theme birthday party.
Here are the recipes of some of my fair food favorites:
My in-laws run a homemade ice cream stand during several of the fairs, and I go help out. So by the end of August I’ve had my fill on fair food, but right now it sounds really good.
They serve homemade ice cream, waffle cones, sundaes, root beer floats, shakes and other ice cream goodness. It’s fun but tons of work at the same time.

All I like about the fair is the food, so I don’t usually go. The food is bad for me. : )
Funnel cakes and cotton candy are my favorites.
I can’t pass up the funnel cakes! The recipe actually sounds very easy, so maybe I’ll try it sometime. Of course the fair atmosphere, the noise, sounds, smells, makes everything taste better!
