Putting together a Halloween party, and looking for a unique menu to serve your guests? I have a few Halloween menu ideas for you  to check out.
When you’re putting together a Halloween menu you want to add some things to go with the theme, some scary, gross, or creepy food that still tastes delicious will fit into the menu perfectly.

I haven’t rounded up all the fun things there are to celebrate in September yet, but when I do, I’ll make sure I include International Bacon Day on the list. Today I have a delicious appetizer idea featuring bacon.
You can use this recipe to celebrate Bacon Day, or for any of your other fall celebrations. I think it would be a wonderful recipe for a football party. You could switch it up and serve it on some homemade corn chips.

I love chocolate covered anything, but chocolate covered strawberries make a fabulous party appetizer, or simple dessert, especially this time of year.

Cheesy Stuffed Artichoke Appetizer Recipe

Yesterday I talked about Santa Barbara Bay Deli Style Party Dips. Today I’d like to share a stuffed artichoke appetizer recipe from Santa Barbara Bay.
Cheesy stuffed artichokes would make an easy appetizer for your summer backyard party, or cookout.

Cheesy Artichoke Bottoms
3 canned marinated artichoke bottoms
¼ cup shaved or grated Parmesan cheese
1 12-oz. container Santa Barbara Bay Artichoke Dip
Directions: Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place marinated artichoke bottoms in a lightly greased baking dish. Top each artichoke with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 325 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes until cheese is golden brown. Remove from oven and top each artichoke …read more

Santa Barbara Bay Party Dips

I recently had the opportunity to try a couple of Santa Barbara Bay Deli Style Dips. I sampled the Artichoke Dip, and the Carmelized Onion and Roasted Garlic Dip.

Both dips were delicious, but I think my favorite was the Artichoke dip, it was fabulous on thin restaurant style corn chips. Both dips would be wonderful for summer parties.

Grilled Appetizers~ Chicken Satay Skewers

When you’re having a backyard barbecue, or cookout it’s nice to make the whole meal on the grill. I have an easy grilled appetizer recipe for you today from Thai Kitchen.
Marinade the chicken ahead of time, and make up your sauce. When the guests arrive throw your appetizers on the grill and have a little conversation while they’re cooking.

Chicken Satay
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Refrigerate: 1 hour
Cook Time: 6 minutes
Ingredients:

Summer Party Appetizer~ Cucumber Sandwiches

I have an easy Summer party appetizer recipe for you today. Cucumbers are a cool refreshing taste of summer. These appetizers are super simple, and work great for bridal or baby showers, graduations, or backyard cookouts.
Cucumber Sandwiches
Mini pumpernickel bread (in the Deli section at most supermarkets)
1-2 cucumbers~ sliced
Dill weed
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
1~ 8oz cream cheese (at room temperature)
Mix the Mayonnaise and cream cheese together with a blender until smooth. Spread the cream cheese Mayonnaise mixture on the pumpernickel slices, then top each one with a cucumber and sprinkle with dill on top for garnish and flavor.

Superbowl Party Snack~ Southwest Caviar

Here’s an easy, healthy Superbowl party snack idea from Tostitos. The recipe is very simple, and prep time is only about 15 minutes.
Southwestern Caviar

2 (15 oz cans) black beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup chopped green onions, bulbs and green tops
1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
juice of one lime
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon olive oil
1 jalapeno, stemmed, seeded, and chopped ( for a spicier dip leave the seeds in)
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon of salt

In a large bowl toss all the ingredients until evenly mixed. Serve with Tostitos(tm) Scoops, or other Frito-Lay chips for dipping.
