I have a great appetizer recipe for your football parties, and casual holiday parties from Mission Menus. I love making quesadillas, because they’re so easy. Just let your guests top them with sour cream, salsa, or guacamole, or cut them into wedges and top them ahead of time to serve them on plates like appetizers.
Quesadillas make great finger food for casual parties, and football gatherings. This Herb Portobello Quesadillo has a little flavor twist to make it extra delicious.

I have a fun and easy appetizer to share with you today. I love to make these for casual holiday parties, like the book club getting together, or a holiday gathering of friends. These little finger food sized taco tartlets are also fun to munch on during a football party, when your favorite team is in one of the college bowls coming up, or the playoffs.

I haven’t rounded up all the fun things there are to celebrate in September yet, but when I do, I’ll make sure I include International Bacon Day on the list. Today I have a delicious appetizer idea featuring bacon.

Cheesy Stuffed Artichoke Appetizer Recipe

Yesterday I talked about Santa Barbara Bay Deli Style Party Dips. Today I’d like to share a stuffed artichoke appetizer recipe from Santa Barbara Bay.
Cheesy stuffed artichokes would make an easy appetizer for your summer backyard party, or cookout.

Cheesy Artichoke Bottoms
3 canned marinated artichoke bottoms
¼ cup shaved or grated Parmesan cheese
1 12-oz. container Santa Barbara Bay Artichoke Dip
Directions: Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place marinated artichoke bottoms in a lightly greased baking dish. Top each artichoke with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 325 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes until cheese is golden brown. Remove from oven and top each artichoke …read more

I recently had the opportunity to try a couple of Santa Barbara Bay Deli Style Dips. I sampled the Artichoke Dip, and the Carmelized Onion and Roasted Garlic Dip.

Both dips were delicious, but I think my favorite was the Artichoke dip, it was fabulous on thin restaurant style corn chips. Both dips would be wonderful for summer parties.

Grilled Appetizers~ Chicken Satay Skewers

When you’re having a backyard barbecue, or cookout it’s nice to make the whole meal on the grill. I have an easy grilled appetizer recipe for you today from Thai Kitchen.
Marinade the chicken ahead of time, and make up your sauce. When the guests arrive throw your appetizers on the grill and have a little conversation while they’re cooking.

Chicken Satay
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Refrigerate: 1 hour
Cook Time: 6 minutes
