Should You Make Handmade Party Invitations?

Should you make or buy your party invitations? It all depends on you. Do you enjoy making things yourself, or making things unique for your party? If you’re someone who likes to have something totally unique, and different, then hand made invitations could be the way to go.

If you decide to go with handmade invitations, you don’t have to stick to the standard invites. You can print your message and attach it to a candy bar, or a small gift box or some other item to get your guests attention.

Planning A Children’s Party Guest List

Planning A Children’s Party Guest List

Younger children, especially during the toddler years, don’t really have friends yet. So most of the guests are friends of the family, and the children can be a broad range of ages.
When children get a little older, and start to make friends, then it is important to let them have some say in the guest list.

With Memorial Day coming up next weekend, and the Fourth Of July in a few weeks, summer party season is about to be in full swing, so I thought I’d share a few ideas for handmade summer party invitations.
First up is an invitation for a summer barbecue. It uses a few stickers, and some contrasting paper to make a fun invitation.
Here are a couple fun ideas for handmade garden party invitations. You can use buttons, felt, paper, ribbons , leftover plastic or pressed flowers to make your handmade invites.

5 Tips for Saving Money on Party Invitations

Party invitations are a big business. Even if you’re purchasing store bought invitations for a kids’ birthday party you can spend $10 to $20 after they’re all mailed out. Use Evite or another online invitation service. Evite is free and sends a custom designed (by you) invitation to your guests’ email addresses. You can set it up to ping you every …read more

Fabulous Party Holiday & Christmas Cards

Fabulous Party Holiday & Christmas Cards

I thought these cards were absolutely wonderful! They are the Fabulous Party Holiday & Christmas Cards by R.Nichols and I fell in love with the design.
Although they are meant to be used as just a card, I also thought they would make great invitations to a holiday party. You could print up the necessary party invitation information on some pretty paper and slip it into the card. This would save you some time from having to write it out on each card. On the card itself you could write “Merry Christmas” or “Happy Holidays” and sign your name.
