Roses are classic, and classy for weddings. If you’re planning a wedding and it’s inspired by beautiful roses I have a few ideas to share with you today.

I love lilies, and since it’s officially Spring and the weather is getting warmer I thought I’d share some of my favorite Lily wedding inspirations and ideas.
First up here are a couple Lily inspired invitations. The first invitation is from Pingg.com.

Lilies make beautiful decorations for wedding cakes, so I had to include a few ideas for lily inspired wedding cakes.

Lilies are big bold and beautiful. I think that makes them wonderful for weddings, especially Spring and Summer weddings when you can find your lilies fresh from local growers.

When I think Spring, I think of bold pinks and greens, so I’ve put together some Spring pink and green wedding ideas and inspirations.

I’ve had a fascination lately with fairy tale wedding themes, and castle cakes. I think it’s from seeing Fergie’s beautiful castle cake in the news. I can’t find a photo of that one, or I’d post it here at She Know’s Parties. These are not quite as big, but they are gorgeous.

I’m from Ohio, so one of my favorites is this Ohio State Buckeye football wedding cake. Check out those chocolate buckeyes! They’re my favorite part of the cake.

Wedding cakes topped with fresh or silk flowers are very popular these days. I captured some beautiful floral cakes at the Dayton Bridal Expo this weekend, so I thought I’d share a few.
These two were my favorites, one is topped with yellow daisies, the other has lilies, and roses. Both were iced with white butter cream icing.

I spent the day today at the Dayton Bridal Expo. I have tons of photos of cakes, flowers, and wedding gowns to share with you over the next couple of days. The vendors there were all very nice, and I talked to several to get some wedding and reception planning tips.
