What do you need to set up your own candy bar? You’ll need some candy of course, bulk candy works best. You’ll also need some glass containers. You can dress up the containers with a bow or wrap them with fabric to add some color.

Don’t forget a small scoop in each candy container so guests can scoop the candy into their favor bag or box, and small printed labels can let your guests know what type of candy they’re scooping.

What candies work well for a candy bar? Chocolates are wonderful, but so are jelly beans, M &  M’s, gumballs, gummy candies, licorice sticks, lemon drops, or your favorite candy.

You can also include small cookies, or wrapped candy bars custom printed with your party information.

A candy bar makes a colorful display, and can be included as part of your decorations if done correctly, while providing your guests a little something to remember your party.

When you’re shopping for a destination wedding gown look for gowns that suit your style, whether that’s elegant or sophisticated, or casual and earthy.

Look for details that suit you in the dress cut, color, fabric, and style. I saw a fabulous destination wedding gown in a light gray not too long ago. Many destination gowns also have beautiful sequins, beadwork, and embroidery to set them apart.

I love this type of show. Watching the Frungillo family pull off the over the top requests of their clients sounds entertaining to me. The Fungillos pride themselves in making their clients dreams come true, from hot air balloons, and carriage rides, to including pets in the wedding. These guys definitely know how to put on a party!

They work hard to make sure the bride has the perfect wedding. You get to watch it all, from the impossible requests to the last minute crisis. The Frungillo family handles everything with style.

I can’t wait to see them put together some spectacular weddings. I love the images so far.

I enjoy the party and wedding planning process, so this show is something that definitely catches my interest.

The show premiered August 18th and will be airing this fall on TLC.

Today I have some decorative bouquets ideas you can use for a party centerpiece, or wedding bouquet, all in white. If you don’t like the solid white, you can add accents in any color.

First up, dressing up simple white daisies with a little green, or with some pearl beads.

Lilies are fabulous in white.

Did you know white can come in shades? You can use off white, or winter white in your bouquet. Mix up shades of white for a beautiful look, like this bouquet with white roses, and mums.

You can also go with one type of flower, and a white, white like this very white rose arrangement on a red background.

White is spectacular for winter and snow, or summer and sun. It’s a timeless elegant color for parties and weddings.

Citrus is my favorite to work with in floral arrangements. I love their bright vivid colors, and they will hold up for several days without spoiling.

You don’t have to incorporate the fruit in the arrangement, you can hollow out an orange, or an apple and use them for as a vase for your floral centerpiece.

Arrange flowers and fruit in a basket to give your backyard party a casual feel.

You don’t have to pair a floral arrangement with your fruit, you can float some flowers in a clear vase as a focal center for a fresh fruit display. It makes a beautiful contrast, and dresses up your fruit. It can help make your fruit part of the decorations.

You can also arrange flowers in small glass vases right in your fruit display, or float flowers in shallow glass bowls to add color and texture to your food table.

My favorite thing about using fruit and floral arrangement centerpiece is the versatility. You can dress it up, or make it casual and fun.

I have a couple Christmas wedding decorating ideas to share with you today. I know, it’s only August, and Christmas is still 5 months away. If you’re planning a wedding, that’s not very long to get everything together, so you should already be at least in the planning stage.

• My favorite Christmas weddings have all featured poinsettias. They’re fabulous to put at the alter when you’re getting married. Small poinsettias also work very nicely as table centerpieces for dinner.
• White tulle, with white miniature wrapped inside can look like fluffy white snow.

• Christmas wedding table decorations can include pine cones, Christmas greens, shimmering silvers, reds, and whites. Votive candles, or larger pillars can give the room a soft glow.

• Leave a small box filled with Christmas chocolates on your guests plate, as a decoration, and a party favor.
• Wrap white lights on branches, for soft background lighting when you turn out the lights for a little dancing.

It’s your night, so why not feature your favorite drinks as your featured wedding cocktails for guests to remember you by. Maestro Dobel Diamond Tequila and Gran Centenario Rosangel Tequila sent me a couple recipes that would work great for his and her wedding cocktails.

The key is to make one masculine, for the groom, and the other softer and more feminine for the bride if that fits your personalities. If that doesn’t fit, find something that will fit your individual personality.

Here are a couple sample his and her cocktails:

“His” Cocktail~ Maestro Martini

From Maestro Dobel Diamond Tequila

We all know a diamond signifies the everlasting love between a couple, so we think a diamond cocktail fits perfectly into a wedding celebration. “Her” Cocktail Rosangel Margarita

For the bride and bridesmaids, and for all the female guests in the room, there’s no better way to tie in the feminine décor and floral centerpieces than with a Rosangel cocktail. “Her” cocktail recipe for the Rosangel Margarita:

• 1 ½ oz Rosangel™
• ½ oz Premium Orange Liqueur
• ½ oz of Lime Juice
• ½ oz of Cranberry Juice
• ½ oz of Orange Juice

Directions: Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a coupe glass.
