Bloggers I love: Treehugging Family

I got such a kick out of reading Jennifer Chait’s Treehugging Family blog, and the other day, her post, “Best times to be a green nature kid” … it reminded me of when my son was a toddler, in the long summer evenings that never seemed to make it to night. We’d pack a picnic and go to the park, play til it was dinnertime, then set up camp in the grass. And of our autumn walks to school when we first returned to the States, and the gift of milkweed pods to open and chase the fairies down the street.

Spend some time unplugged. It’s good for you. It’s good for your children.
