Celebrate the ’single’ in ’single mother’

I love how something brings new friends into my life. Like Singles Week. “Unmarried and Single Americans Week”, to be precise. When I wrote about it here on SoloMother, Dating Dames picked up the cry. And I remembered I’m a single, available woman, not just a solomother. I’ll get some tips from them whenever I dip my toe back in the water.
…and then Onely found me, and I’m very much enjoying their site, too, reminding myself from time to time that I’m not just a single mom. I’m a single woman. And that’s ok, too. In fact, in many ways, it’s GREAT.
…. and THEN, I read a post by fellow blogger single mother Sarah, member of The Single Parents Connection on Facebook which led me to Tango, and some smart talk on love.
So surf the Net this week on a single thread, and who knows what you’ll come up with?

I love that about the internet, the way you can find like-minded people no matter what the subject. It makes this big world feel smaller or more accessible, more like a village, in a way.
Now I’m off to check out the other links you mentioned.
Happy Wednesday to you!
Michelle! Now what? Our week is over. back to the same ole same ole?
