Love around the blogosphere…

Our One Heart is giving away a romantic night for two at a swank resort in Oregon:

The lucky winner will receive a Romance by the River package for Two (2) that includes the following:

Head on over to Our One Heart for instructions on how to enter to win — you have until the 28th.

I love seeing how peoples’ minds work. Erin over at Irascible Crayons wonders if the first law of thermodynamics applies to love… I think she might be on to something… and she’s kind enough to explain what that first law is, for those of us old enough to have forgotten all the science classes we slept through in high school… *cough*

I’m really enjoying the advice that our very own Sanity Fairy has been dispensing over at Single Mommyhood (or is that Single Mommy ‘Hood?). Dr. Leah’s latest level-headed advice tackles a single father’s worry that his son will make the same relationship mistakes that he did. Head on over to “I’m worried about my child’s future relationship choices” and let the Sanity Fairy calm the little obsessive, manic voice in your head.

And over at Dad’s House, a 12 year old boy had a crappy week, but he managed to get back on his feet and kick some serious arse. It’s a lovely little post, and something to keep in mind, all of us facing the tween years.

It’s advice I am going to have to use for myself. I took a couple of hard knocks last week, myself. Difficult when I was fighting on the side of might and right and still got my butt kicked. The good guys don’t always win, but if the good guys give up the fight, then the bad guys will surely win.

Sigh.

  2. Yes, thanks for the shout out darling!

Anyone who knows you, knows that you’re a lover and a fighter, yes? It can get exhausting….. Please take good care of yourself.

  3. Of course, thanks for shout out. It can all get exhausting, definitely, but, happily, we can lean on each other.

    Take good care of you!

    Group hug,
    “Sanity Fairy”
