Linen sprays are a wonderful way to keep your sheets and pillowcases smelling fresh between washings.
I used to use baby powder scented with various essential oils but I found that over the period of a week the powder would start to be too much on the sheets! The linen spray does not build up at all, it will not discolor your linens and it just makes you feel romantic and Edwardian when you use it.

Be sure to use relaxing essential oils unless you want to lay awake in an energizing, albeit aromatic, bed. Some good ones to try, alone or mixed, are:

Lavender

Rose

Neroli

Chamomile

Sandalwood

Once you have decided on a scent, or combination, that you like (Rose and sandalwood, mmmmm) you are ready to make your mix…

2 tbs vodka

About 20 drops of essential oil, or combination of more than one

Distilled water

Spray bottle (like the cute ones at the cosmetic departments)

Mix the vodka and the essential oils in the bottle. Add distilled water to fill. Cover and shake well. Set aside for 48 hours to allow the scents to mingle and mature.
Spray linens when you make the bed and at night when you turn down the sheets. Shake before using.
