People all around the United States are planning on doing something special today. Why? To honor the victims of 9/11 and those that served to help. Will you be doing something special today?
President Obama will be formally declaring September 11th a National Day of Service and Remembrance. It is true that most remember the day, but to have it declared will be a huge step. Did you know there are some schools that will probably avoid the subject completely?

Patriot Day Ideas

Patriot Day can be a sad day as people remember all of the lives lost during the terrorist attacks. Instead of sitting and feeling sad about what happened, I decided I’d like to think of some productive things to do to honor the lives lost. Cheers To A Former Boss.
I came across the e-mail of a former employer yesterday and decided to send her a brief “shout out” (I hate that phrase). I never expected her to write back, but she did…and I’m so glad.
I miss her terribly…isn’t that an odd thing to say about a boss?

What Exit You From? It’s Vacation Time!
Well, as most of you are all back from your vacations, nice and rested–we’re all raggedy and need to get out of Dodge, before we commit a crime.
So off we go to enchanting, Long Beach Island–a barrier island off the coast of Jersey. And if you haven’t been…don’t make fun. (Exit 63, if you must know.)
