I promised a photo of the gifts I received from Adéle Basheer, so here it is below. The keyring is already attached to my keys, so the butterfly hook isn’t part of the gift. I’m blessed, aren’t I?

On Christmas Eve I came home from mad shopping to find a parcel on my doorstep. I wasn’t expecting anything, so it was already a surprise. On opening I found some lovely gifts from Adéle Basheer who owns Intrinsic. I have several of her journals. With crazy Christmas things and a sick little boy I haven’t had a chance to take a photo. But I can show you the products I received by leaving links to their online store.
Here are the lovely gifts I found in my surprise parcel:
Shining Star Keyring
Beautiful Angel Pin

If you love Intrinsic journals as much as I do you’ll be excited to learn they now have an Online Store. Check out their journals, guest books, keyrings, keepsake boxes & just about everything else in their range.
You can now find your favourite Intrinsic products in one location. They take major credit cards, and Paypal, but maybe you didn’t need to know that.
By the way, their latest member freebies are up on their website, for December already.

As you all know I enjoy reading the articles on Intrinsic.com, and even contribute articles to their online newsletter. So, I just had to share another really cool contest they’re holding for subscribers to their newsletter. Ok, you do need to be aged between 15 & 20 to enter this particular contest, but don’t let that stop you subscribing to their excellent newsletter if you don’t fit the bill.
There are prizes for a total of three winners. If you’re one of the winners you get your hands on an Apple iPod Shuffle. You can enter as many times as you …read more

I’ve mentioned Intrinsic journals before, but they are always giving such cool things away, I just have to mention them again. If you join up to receive their email newsletter you get access to really gorgeous items to download for your computer and for your journal.
This month members can download a planner for the month of May. I’ve just checked it out. The colour is a lovely soft blue and takes up one full page. I’m printing it out as I write this. It’s so sweet, with butterflies and flowers. I know I won’t have any trouble keeping organised …read more
The Journal I Won

The other week I shared my good news with you, how I’d won an Intrinsic journal. Well, the journal arrived today in the mail. I took a few photos, but the light wasn’t so good today with all the rain we’re having. I hope you can see the cover okay in this photo.
For those who can’t see, the cover quote says: “Journey: There is no greater adventure than to follow in the path of your dreams.” Adèle Basheer
Inside, on the very first page, is another quote: “Journey: A journal should be written on pages within a cover that inspires …read more

I won an Intrinsic journal!
On receiving the latest Intrinsic newsletter I read about the competition after following the link to Adèle’s journal entry about her adventures in New York.
All I had to do was write, in less than 250 words, about a memorable journey I’d made. I emailed my story and hoped like crazy I’d be one of the first five to reply.
Today, when I opened my email, there was a congratulation from Intrinsic confirming my details. The journal I’ve won is in the Cherish range.
Pretty cool, hey?
I felt the competition made a good prompt for …read more
