Kimberly Emelyantsev pleaded guilty June 20.  She was originally charged with first felony murder for the death of Nikoli, her adoptive son of only several months. She pleaded guilty to a lesser felony charge and will face up to 15 years in prison when she is sentenced August 8.
She stated that she dropped the boy on his head out of frustration…he was fussy. The Tooele County prosecutors dropped child abuse charges related to the other child, a 4  year old.
