The Oldest Dog in the World

Yesterday I wrote about Gibson, the world’s tallest dog who recently passed away from cancer. Today I thought I’d look up who the oldest dog in the world is, and found Max.
At 26 years old (he just celebrated his most recent birthday this Sunday), it’s hard to dispute the fact that Max is old!
According to the above article, his owner Janelle DeRouen of Louisiana recently read an article about a 21-year-old dog being touted as the world’s oldest and decided she needed to contact Guinness to “set the record straight.” I can’t say that I blame her!

Age and Attraction – Does It Really Matter?

I read a piece in MORE magazine today about men and how they really feel about women as they age. They talked to a group of men who were 25-50 and asked them questions about how they perceive women, if they would prefer a 25 year-old or a 45 year-old if they were equally attractive, how they feel about augmented breasts, etc.

The Truth About Age and Dating

In celebration of National Singles Week, September 17-23, It’s Just Lunch, the premier dating service for busy professionals, has released statistics from its Annual Report on Dating about singles, dating and age.
According to a survey of 3,571 singles 76% of women date men that are at least 5 years older than them, while 80% of men date women that are at least 5 years younger than them.
