Chest Colds – What Do You Do?

I’ve been hit with a nasty chest cold. Usually, colds go straight there for me. Forget the sinuses, the throat, they go straight for my lungs.
I am *very* fortunate because I can count the number of colds I’ve had over the past three years on one hand, but I guess Airborne just wasn’t enough to combat this one. So, what do you do when you have a bad chest cold? The hacking, feeling like your lungs are trying to come up type of chest cold?

Holiday Allergies: Alert

The holidays come with their own host of allergies. This I know first hand and second hand, as I have a severe egg allergy and my son has a plethora of allergies including oats, bananas, peppers, salicylates, cinnamon (undiagnosed), and many other suspected.
As a host one has to be conscious of not only foods but also airborne toxins. Last year we visited my mother-in-law for brunch and my son got sick from the smell of candles and cinnamon French Toast.
