Summer time and the traveling is getting hectic!  People are still traveling, and that means full planes, busy airports, and long at airport security.  Summer is also a time when there are lots of novice travelers trying to figure out how the whole systems works.

Anyone traveling in the midwest probably has a story about O’Hare airport in Chicago.  Whether it’s air traffic congestion, weather delays (summer and winter), or crowded facilities, there are lots of ORD anecdotes – and they’re usually about how long a traveler was stuck at the airport.

New Security Rule Means New Laptop Cases

Now that the TSA has announced a change in security policy, and laptop bags may not be required to removed from its bag, it may be time to go shopping for a new laptop case.
One of the key requirements for a “checkpoint friendly” bag is that it lie flat on the x-ray belt, and that there be not metal snaps, zippers, buckles, or pockets that can obstruct a clear view of the laptop inside.
