Of course it is common sense to suggest to a newcomer to change their playmates and playgrounds! If they don’t they’ll put themselves right back in a place where alcohol, drugs or whatever, can influence their thinking and actions. Certainly, in the beginning – how many of us are spiritually fit enough to go there?

We Sure Can Be Inane!

Thanks Hal, I needed to be reminded how we can become so inane. I mean, us alkies will stoop to whatever depths we need to to justify our drinking!

Must Not Go Where Liquor Is Served?

I received a comment into moderation the other day relating to an older post on Clubs In AA. I haven’t approved it because I doubt its sincerity. It says: “Recently a AA club moved into a building that has a bar on the second floor. This to me is completely unacceptable.”
Really??? Think about this. Unacceptable to you??? I thought we stopped playing God in recovery.
