Alzheimer’s News on the Radio.

Minnesota Public Radio has the ‘latest on alzheimer’s’ radio broadcast that’s worth a listen. With guests Ronald Petersen, a neurologist at the Mayo Clinic Medical School and Alzheimer’s disease researcher, and Benjamin Wolozin, a neurologist at Boston University, the radio program discusses a new Mayo Clinic study. The study seems to show that more people are showing early signs of dementia at a much earlier age.

Terry Pratchett Speaks Out About Alzheimer’s Funding in Britain.

Best selling author Terry Pratchett, recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease, is speaking out about the ’shameful’ lack of funding to help fight Alzheimer’s.
Speaking at a conference of Alzheimer’s Researchers in Bristol this week, Pratchett said
“There’s nearly as many of us as there are cancer sufferers, and it looks as if the number of people with the disease will double within a generation. And, in most cases, alongside the sufferer you will find a spouse suffering as much.
