Ruth Schaffer, over at b5media’s Eating Fabulous, refers to flavanol-rich cocoa as a food that could be for the heart and brain. Researchers have concluded it could lead to brain health and thus possibly slowing down dementia or Alzheimer’s.
According to Ruth, “It’s too early to tell, but could chocolate be the new prophylactic for preventing cognitive decline and dementia?”
