Amy Poehler is the latest female comedian to score a book deal, and we are so, so psyched. According to the AP, Poehler’s book will be published by It Books, a pop culture imprint of HarperCollins Publishers, and it’s going to be an “illustrated, non-linear diary full of humor and honesty and brimming with true stories, fictional anecdotes and life lessons.” If it’s half as great as we think it will be, we’ll be buying up copies for everyone we know in 2014. And if it’s aimed at the same demographic as Poehler’s great online video series, teen girls everywhere will have a really great addition to their bookshelves. More
