Miami’s Accused Serial Cat Killer

What does an accused serial cat killer look like? Apparently, he looks like your next door neighbor. If the teen pictured below were standing beside me at a Ben & Jerry’s, I certainly would never guess… cat killer. Perhaps he’s innocent, but I do hope the truth comes out either way.

On Monday, 18-year-old Tyler Hayes Weinman was charged with 19 counts of animal cruelty. In addition, he was charged with 19 counts of improper disposal of dead animals and four counts of burglary.

Poetic Justice: Michael Vick’s House to Possibly Become An Animal Shelter

Michael Vick’s house became almost as infamous as he did last year when his dogfighting ring and subsequent animal cruelty were discovered. He sold the property in Surry County, Virginia, last May for $450,000 (thought it was appraised at $747,000) and it has since been put up for auction. The real estate developer, however, claims he’s spent an additional $50,000 in repairs after the house was vandalized and is now asking for $1.1 million.
