European Union Wants to Ban Cloned Livestock as Food

The European Union is planning on proposing a temporary ban on cloning livestock and selling food produced from cloned farm animals. Even though the European Food Safety Authority said that there was no evidence suggesting that meat or milk from a cloned animal was any different from food from a normal animal, the EU Science Adviser said that there are serious concerns for the welfare of the animals involved.
