Quilters sometimes use old trunks, or reproduction trunks, for transporting and displaying their quilts for shows, workshops, and lectures.  The trunks add appeal to the display and a bit of nostalgia to their talk or workshop.

Fabric art
Wearable art
Samples of the work they&#8217;re teaching
