Fall is definitely apple season. It’s the time of year when apples are full of flavor and have that extra special crunch. I love cooking with apples, you can use them to make a sweet dessert, or even a savory dish.

Apple Crisp With Vanilla Ice Cream

The apples from the grocery stores really looked delicious the other day so I bought a bag and decided to make an apple crisp out of them. 1 cup of flour
1/2 cup brown sugar

Ingredients:
4 cups apples (crisp and tart such as Braeburn), peeled and sliced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/3 plus 1/2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed, divided
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/4 …read more
