Prettiest. Cob. House. Ever.

I was surfing about and where I first saw Dick & Jane’s house is a blog called Mid Beacon Hill. Now this is a blog worth mentioning and believe me, I see many blogs. This blog captured my attention for far too long (when I should have been working). The blogger is sort of like me here — lots of photos, lots of thought snippets and bonus overload mentions of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Visit Mid Beacon Hill and delight in all it is. It’s a long download but other than that a fine read.

Back to seeing Dick & Jane:

What is this place indeed. This place is Dick & Jane’s House; an art site and home to artists Jane Orleman and Richard C. Elliott.

From Dick & Jane’s Spot:

“Dick and Jane made most of the art you see but we also collect art. The works of over 40 artists are in the yard. Generally, what you see from outside the fence is what you see. The rest is our private yard so please respect the fences.

We have been working on the Spot for 27 years. There are over 10,000 bottle caps and thousands of reflectors. The pieces in the yard are always changing. Old pieces decay and new ones are added. The images you see here represent a small fraction of the art and gardens.”
