My husband and I just returned from a night out of town away from the stresses of our jobs and the wails of our little boy. I’m pathetic when it comes to leaving my little boy, even for one night. Gone With the Wind, the only novel written by author Margaret Mitchell, is set in the deep south during the time of the Civil War and the following Reconstruction. The novel, one of most popular books ever written, won a Pulitzer Prize. It was later adapted in a movie that won 8 Academy Awards, including Best Actress (Vivien Leigh as Scarlett), Best Supporting Actress (Hattie McDaniel as Prissy), and Best Picture.

Wedded Bliss

Hey all, sorry for the lack of posts as of late (namely, this week). My new husband Matt and I have been having a great time on our honeymoon. We spent two nights at an inn in Gatlinburg, TN, right next to the Smoky Mountains. It was a gorgeous little place with a really homey feel. After that we went to Atlanta – and I got some great shopping (and eating!) in. The highlights – eating the freshest Maine lobster I’ve ever had and shopping at a Sephora in the Lenox Mall.
