I just hired a friend of mine.
Now, before you get all, “You shouldn’t hire friends…” on me, just know that it also happens that she’s done the type of work before, and she’ll pretty much be able to step right in.
But, the catch is that she has 6 kids and this is her first time back to work since having them. I think something about the “on ramp” is supposed to go here, but you get the idea.

My friend, Zoot ended her maternity leave and headed back to work this week.
This is her third child, and over the years she’s realized what she needs to do regarding being a working parent:

During the holidays, the hardest part about being married to a teacher, and, having young kids in school is that I’m the only one who has to get up and go anywhere during Christmas vacation.
I had to drag myself back to work this morning, but, I took my time getting ready, and, I stopped for a donut.
Someone’s got to live on the edge, might as well be me.
