Real working mother moment of the day:
I apparently signed up a while back to bring baked good to the 6th grade Christmas party next week.
I, and, two other women whom I happen to know have jobs outside the home, got an e-mail requesting said treats with the words “homemade, NOT store bought” bolded 3 different times.
Maybe I’m reading into it, I don’t know, but, it looks like it’s possible that the working mother stereotype is alive and well.
