More than 40,000 pets die each year due to smoke inhalation. Yet, pet oxygen masks can help turn things around. The only problem is that fire departments and EMT offices often lack the funding to put a pet oxygen mask on each truck. The masks can effectively help save pet lives only if they’re on every fire truck.

It’s becoming more popular to take dogs on outings or vacations, but there’s a downside to the fun. Without proper precautions, doggie dates can become dangerous to both humans and pets.
According to Bark Buckle UP, a 60-pound dog that’s unrestrained can create an impact of 2,700 pounds during an accident that occurs when a car is traveling only 35 mph. The pet may slam into a car seat or passenger. Not a nice thought, is it?
