What do I do when I get the Winter Blues? I do what any self-respecting woman does – I get new hair.
I want on purpose hair.
I’m willing to fix it and style it now.
I want it to look sleek and sophisticated. I want it short because it’s so much lighter and easier. I want to look hip, but I want to look like a grown-up.
So I googled “short sophisticated hair” and emailed my stylist, Mrs. Blogoway, a bunch of styles I like.

My hairdresser has a sign in her salon that says: I’m a beautician not a magician. I have another friend who went to beauty school, but hated working on women’s hair because they have such unrealistic expectations.
We often take a photograph of a movie star into the salon and say I’ll have that. As if anything is possible. Dove has a new video out which shows how that Hollywood hair is achieved in reality. Then they ask, Do you really want that Hollywood hair? Or should you learn to love the hair you have?

Can A Leopard Change Her Spots

Holy Pregnancy Mask Batman! Even with an SPF 50 sunscreen, plus the SPF 30 moisturizer I wear I look like a freaking spotted leopard. Or maybe like Kat Von D from Miami Ink, only my spots do not have intention and beauty behind them.
I usually don’t consider myself at all vain. I think I’m attractive and I have a positive self esteem about my looks. I’m one of the few women I know who would not choose plastic surgery because I don’t particularly hate anything about myself. Funny Diva Days Carnival

Feeling down? How bout a giggle?
Diva Days has started the first Carnival of Diva Days and, of course, I submitted my story about fake eyelashes.
I actually wore something similar to this brides maid’s dress on All Women’s Talk. I thought it was so pretty I wore it to church and weddings for a long time after. My dress did not have the big bows however.
At Whatever Life Magazine there is a story about a girl getting nominated for homecoming queen and having her dress rip, so everyone could see her panties, during the dance. Frankly, it sounds like an urban …read more
