Though much of our anniversary trip was spent in our cozy cottage, we did get around to enjoying some of the natural surroundings. We also ventured into the quaint town nearby.
Hocking Hills, the area where the Inn at Cedar Falls is located, is home to a beautiful and peaceful wooded area. As expected from the name, the Inn was located right near Cedar Falls. So, I’d mentioned that we’d wanted to take a trip to celebrate our 10th anniversary, but that it looked like we wouldn’t make it this year. Surprise!!! We’re actually going to be able to get away for a few days together this week, a hopefully relaxing escape before heading into the craziness of the holiday. So, this year marked my and Bald Man’s 10th anniversary, and the plan was to take a special trip, just the two of us. It’s almost the end of the year and we haven’t quite gotten away, yet! So, we may be looking into a 10 1/2 year anniversary trip.
