Earlier this summer I rode my bike to work for several days. (I’d still be riding my bike to work, but my office building was closed due to record flooding in my city last month and hasn’t opened back up yet so I’ve been working from home.) Hopefully it is a gorgeous day where you are and today’s little adventure will be something that you can enjoy with your kids. After dinner, get out your bikes and helmets (yes that means you too) and go exploring as a family . I don’t really like riding on the streets, so if there is a park nearby that has bike trails, take advantage.
I can remember packing up a picnic when mine were little and making a day of it. And that would keep us in stories about what we saw for the entire week to come.
