My kids have several First Look and Find Board Books.  These look and find books are meant for toddlers, and they are excellent.  They come in a variety of themes, including Disney characters, Sesame Street characters, Dora and Diego, My Little Pony and more.

Sweet Dreams – One of My Favorite Children’s Books

When my triplets were born, a friend of my parents’ gave us a copy of Sweet Dreams by L.C. Falken and illustrated by Lisa McCue.  I was immediately captivated by the book which tells the story of three bunnies and their mother as the bunnies play outside, eat dinner and get ready for bed. 
The story is adorable, but the illustrations in the book are what separate it from all the other children’s books we have.  The pictures are colorful and really make you feel like you’re part of the story.

Guess How Much I Love You – Review

For my first review on One Book Two Book, I thought it would be appropriate to write about one of my very favorite children’s books, Guess How Much I Love You by Sam McBratney and illustrated by Anita Jeram.
First, I should mention that this book comes in several versions – a board book, hard cover, with a bunny toy, etc.  My favorite version is the board book, because it’s perfect for reading to kids of all ages, including infants and toddlers who are particularly rough with books.

Little Builder Board Books Recall

It’s not very often that you hear about a book being recalled.  Well, today is one of those days.  The Consumer Products Safety Commission announced a recall of Little Builder children’s board book sets that were sold with toy trucks included.  Both the toy dump truck and concrete mixer included with the sets were made with parts that can fall off and pose a choking hazard.  The recall only affects 17,000 units of sets with ISBN 1-49373-215-9 sold between August 2007 and February 2008 through:
