I suppose this is one way to roll if you’re short on funds for a real lake house.
It’s actually sort of cool; like so not cool it’s reached cool status. Although, I’d be thinking, what if it rolled off? I found this at WebUrbanist where they have a delightful post up: 17 Extreme Houseboats and Houseboat Designs: From Luxury Habitats to Humble Floating Homes. I’d hit it. They’ve got some real beauties, including one budget choice that resembles an odd rock.

I’ve thought this was a cool idea for some time, so, it’s about time to share…
This is the Maritime Youth House. Two clients own it (or did when arcspace reported on it). A sailing club and youth house are housed here, of course with different needs. Need one – boat parking spaces, need two – kid fun. I think they accomplished both.
