I decided that today should be a 2 part post.  This time, the two parts are in the same post, though.
Part 1&#8211;Make your boats
I suggest that you make your boat from a junk mail that is glossy.  This sort of paper is naturally more water resistant than the stuff you put into your printer.  If you need help making a paper boat, I suggest this YouTube video (even though it progresses so slowly that I wanted to kick it to give it a jumpstart).
Part 2&#8211;Race your boats

<p>Part 2&#8211;Race your boats</p>
<p>I like this part the best, because I used to do a low-tech version of this with cousins and friends (normally not at the same time&#8211;I&#8217;m not sure why that was).  I say &#8220;low-tech&#8221; because we used twigs.  There is a lot more room for personality with these boats.  I suggest some creative painting and/or modifications.  (This is fun because, if you mess up, it&#8217;s junk mail, you can just pull out another annoying ad and start again.)</p>
