Season’s Meanings.

]]> earth.pngI thought about writing a piece about the top ten most fabulous holiday party shoes, but that seemed to be a selfish approach to the holidays.

What is called for in this world of ours is to try to exemplify and articulate the potential of our humanity.

I’ve decided to re-wind a few of my 2006 posts that focused on giving to those who need us:

Because I love him, I will leverage every opportunity I can to mention anything that Bono is up to.

At the moment he is involved with Product Red , and I hope you find a great new red sweatshirt this year.

Of course it isn’t only humans who need our help, I put together a list of organizations that also help buildings and dogs.

And because I also love my home state and therefore, Mr. Springsteen — I’d like to mention The New Jersey Food Bank Organization — because donating is often about your time, as much as your cash.

And that being which needs our help the most, of course is our Planet Earth. Do whatever you can.

So…a fabulous New Year’s Eve post, coming soon.

Bono Is Red With Compassion.

]]> picture-1.pngThis is pretty powerful. Along with Bobby Shriver and global brand names such as The Gap, American Express and others to appeal to our sense of compassion and charity, Bono has done it again.

He has put his faith in Americans (I think some know that many Americans are more selfless than we are sometimes perceived) and all giving individuals around the world to help with the fight of disease, poverty and devastation (specifically AIDS) in Africa.

Join Product Red and put confidence in Bono’s heart that we are capable of helping…and buy some great stuff, including the fabulous new Red iPod.
