Braces-Friendly Halloween Treats
With Halloween comes ooey gooey caramel and nutty chocolaty treat. Which is wonderful for those of us who totally throw our strict diets out the window, er, don’t have braces, but what about our teens with orthodontia business going on? No caramel apples for you (said in your best soup nazi impersonation).

B is for Braces
About nine months ago my daughter had her first orthodontic consultation. The dentist was concerned that as her grown up teeth started coming in it became apparent that she did not have enough room in her mouth for some of her adult teeth and she was developing an under bite. Our First Trip to the Orthodontist
How come I have this feeling that our relationship with the orthodontist is going to be a long and regular one? I guess with three kids I really can’t expect them all to be blessed with straight and beautiful teeth.
My 8 year old had her first orthodontic appointment today. She has an underbite going and some crowding. All I am seeing is dollar signs, but in the long run, she will feel better about herself as a young lady when her teeth are straight and pretty.
