More Dangers of Tamoxifen

Make no mistake, Tamoxifen has been shown to do some amazing things when it comes to the treatment of breast cancer. Women who take the drug for five years “are less likely to die of breast cancer” and even more astonishing, less likely to have it return. However, as with many drugs, Tamoxifen has some side effects and dangers also.

According to the Breast Cancer Campaign, thousands of women still die from breast cancer yearly — because current treatments are not always effective and in some cases fail to kill the root of the disease.
In a comprehensive review of breast cancer research published today, 56 of the UK’s most influential breast cancer experts have identified the key research gaps and priorities for the greatest potential impact on patients.
