Purple Shamrock manages well in the ground year-round in frost free locations (use as a summer annual zones warmer than 9), and it is a pretty garden plant, but I think it’s an extra cool indoor plant. Purple Shamrock, also known as Oxalis is gorgeous in white or blue containers due to its beautiful purple butterflies-in-flight looking leaves. Plus Purple Shamrock will grow year round if you give it a few hours of sunlight a day and keep it well watered.
