Check to see if your favorite quilt shop is participating on Quilt Pink Day, September 30, (www.quiltpink.com ) to support the fight against breast cancer through the Susan G. Korman Foundation. American Patchwork & Quilting magazine has organized this quilting day.
Quilters around the country will meet at participating quilt shops, make a pink and white block for a quilt. This quilt will be sent to American Patchwork & Quilting. There will be an online auction in May, 2007.

Quilts 4Cancer

Quilters from Pahrump, NV have organized a project, Quilts 4Cancer, to give Christmas quilts to children with cancer. They plan to provide 500 quilts made from fabric with a holiday/Christmas theme. If you don’t have time to make a quilt, you can donate fabric with holiday designs.
