While driving home a short while ago I came up with an idea! I know it is shocking. If I could ever get my head to turn off it would be a small miracle… Anyway, I thought that every evening I would post what I had eaten that day as well as my blood sugar readings. Kind of like a journal of sorts. It will be as much for me as you.
I think this will help me to ensure that I stay right on track and keep my diet tight and under control as well as showing you what foods …read more

I ate pasta last night for dinner, and it was soooo good! I usually don’t eat the noodles, I will just have the salad and 2 meatballs while the kids and my hubby eat the full out meal. I am always scared at what the noodles and carbohydrates will do to my sugars. But, last night I made whole wheat pasta.
I had all 3 of my kids and my 2 nephews eating it with a smile on their faces. They really had no clue it was any different. Yee-ha, because you know what whole wheat …read more

Take this from a mom of 3 little girls who appreciate a good happy meal and indoor playground. This is what I have found works for me…

Just a little update. The other day I wrote that my blood sugar was very high. Well, it stayed like that through Thursday. It was between 245 and 500. I felt fuzzy but was surprised at how quickly I adapted to the high blood sugar
Yesterday AM I saw the doctor. While driving there on I95 I started to get very shaky and started to sweat. I checked my sugar at a stop light after getting off the highway. 47! Uh huh, low indeed. I still had 2 miles or so to …read more
