Although I haven’t yet tried Mouse in the House by CatDancer Products, I’m intrigued by it. I couldn’t stop laughing when I watched the YouTube video below that shows cats playing with the toy.
Choco loves to chase around a furry mouse like the one in the toy, but I have to throw it for him. Otherwise, he loses interest. Sure, it’s good exercise for me, but an automated toy might be nice too!
The main goal of the toy is to provide entertainment for your feline while you’re away. It may be turned on with a timer, or the cat may …read more
Wrapping Paper Play

I don’t think another creature could have as much fun playing with wrapping paper as cats. Choco wanted so badly to help me wrap my nephew’s birthday present. Most of all, he wanted the ribbon.
However, for his patience and assistance, I rewarded him with a few feet of wrapping paper. He made it into tunnels and tents. Chic Cat Bed and Scratcher in One

It’s a bed and scratcher. Looks like the new Mocat could also triple as a play toy with the fun holes. Yes, I see dropping a dangling toy down there to entice kitty. I think the curvy sisal would meet with my cat’s approval. He seems to enjoy scratching my sisal rugs!
Even though the Mocat is a bit expensive, I like the idea of combining multiple kitty functions into one chic item. The Mocat is available online from The Sophisticated Cat luxury cat boutique.
Do you think your cat would like a scratcher that curves?

After rinsing a used ketchup bottle, I decided it had a different destination than the recycling bin.
Cats love a puzzle. And better yet, I didn’t have to spend anything to make this toy. I already had the toy mouse to go inside.
This is a very easy reuse project, plus if you save the bottle cap, your options widen even more, but we’ll talk about that in a bit.
What I used:
Clean wide-mouth ketchup bottle
Elmer’s glue (non-toxic)
Jute
Sharpie
Scissors
Tea tags
The junk project:
-Remove bottle label by soaking in hot water. After the bottle is dry, plan your design.
-In my case, I decided to make a …read more
