I mentioned, a few months back, that I’m a fan of The Girls Next Door, on E!.  The show features Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends, young models from his magazine, Playboy, who live with Hefner on his estate. The girlfriends included Holly Madison, Bridgette Marquardt, and Kendra Wilkinson.  I haven’t watched the show in awhile, but I’ve been reading about girlfriend changes in the entertainment news and what I’ve gathered is that the old girlfriends are out our on their way out and new girlfriends are in.

I read that Carrie Underwood is reportedly dating Mike Fisher, of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators.  Apparently, she has a keen interest in sports?

First, she dated Jessica Simpson’s beau…… (what is his name, I know they are always mentioned over at People magazine, “Jessica Simpson and _______! Jess says it’s real love this time,” or something like that. Tony Romo?  Yep, I looked it up – Tony Romo, of the Dallas Cowboys.)

Have you ever watched The Girls Next Door? 
It’s a show on E! Entertainment television featuring three young Playboy models who are Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends. I’ve watched the show a few times and I like the girls. They have an interesting relationship with Hefner. They are his girlfriends, but there doesn’t appear to be any sort of sexual spark between any of them. He really seems more like a nice, older man who wears his pjs all day and enjoys the company of buxom blondes. That’s a gig I’m sure a lot of guys could appreciate.

My friend, LP, and I have a list of movie star boyfriends. The list is fairly long and lengthy, we are always adding to it, because there are a whole lot of cute boys out there. Some of these guys are married, some are single, but that really doesn’t matter because neither us is single. In a house where the female-to-male ratio is 3-to1, the most exciting aspect of the Olympics for my family was Michael Phelps. My girls and I – we are Phelps Phans. We watched volleyball, race walking (great athletes, but really made us giggle), gymnastics, fencing, you know, the non-Michael events, but swimming, it was clearly the highlight for us.
