Kourtney Kardashian Talks About Abortion

Kourtney Kardashian recently announced that she’s pregnant with her on again/off again boyfriend, Scott Disick. Now she’s admitting that when she first found out she was pregnant, she considered abortion. She stresses that every woman should be able to choose to keep a baby or not.

I think her honesty is going to get a lot of flak from people. While I don’t agree that abortion is a good idea (being someone who is adopted), I think the important thing to focus on here is that she took the time to let it all sink in and then …read more

Jaimee Foxworth (I’m not sure what she’s famous for!) is expecting her first child with her boyfriend. After being a child star, sadly she sank into addiction but seems to have cleaned up her act.

Sarah Palin’s a grandma

Some people would say that saying Alaska governor and former Republican vice-presidential candidate, Sarah Palin is a grandmother isn’t anything new. There are still rumors floating around that her youngest son, Trig, the one with Down’s syndrome, is her grandchild, but she denies it. So, her first grandchild, born to Sarah’s daughter Bristol Palin, was born on December 27th in Alaska.
Bristol, 18, and her boyfriend Levi Johnston, named the baby boy Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston.

Testicular cancer survivor Lance Armstrong to be a dad again

Cycling champion and testicular cancer survivor Lance Armstrong is going to be a dad again, and this time without any outside help.
In 1996, Lance was diagnosed with an advanced stage of testicular cancer. It had spread throughout his body and was given a grim prognosis. However, the grim ending wasn’t meant to be and Lance lived to become a 7-time Tour de France cycling champion as well as head of his organization, Livestrong.org.
Lance was married when he was sick and after recovery. He and his then-wife Kristin Richards had three children using in vitro fertilization (IVF) because Lance had stored …read more

Spiderman Tobey Maguire and his wife Jennifer Meyer are expecting little one number two. This baby will join big sister, Ruby, who is two years old.

Singer Gerard Way, of Chemical Romance, is about to become a dad for the first time. His wife, Lyn-Z (whose real name is Lindsey Ballato) is a bassist for Mindless Self Indulgence. Hmm, I wonder which way they’ll lean …read more

Celebrity IVF experiences giving false hope?

In vitro fertilization (IVF) is gaining popularity as it becomes more available to the general public. It’s not cheap, but it is more available. And, as more celebrity moms over the age of 40 years use this technology to become pregnant, some experts worry that this is giving false hope to women who get the impression that it’s easy to become pregnant, no matter how old they are, as long as they can use IVF.
In Australia, statistics are showing that one in five women who are trying IVF to conceive is over the age of 40 years. The problem is …read more
