Sherry Shepherd has been a curvy girl and embraces her body, but she’s also recently got in fantastic shape. She was inspired to work out to be able to see her son grow up and be an active part of his life. She is down to 159 pounds and has only been working out with a new routine for three months.
She’s lost weight everywhere, but kept her curvy figure, stating that her measurements are 40-33-37. (And that’s after losing four inches from her chest.)
Her secret was good old fashioned diet and exercise. She got food delivered …read more
Kelly Clarkson on Weight Loss

I have to say, I really hate when celebs who aren’t fat are getting picked on for their weight. Kelly Clarkson is one such person. But she’s handled the critics beautifully, basically by ignoring them as much as she can.
She’s on the cover of Self Magazine this month, and admits that she eats junk food and healthy stuff in equal amounts. She works out for her sanity more than she does to keep her weight down, and says her weight fluctuates but she doesn’t pay attention.
Clarkson says, “When people talk about my weight, I’m like, …read more
Rush Limbaugh Loses 90 Pounds

The web is buzzing these days about the huge weight loss Rush Limbaugh is sporting. He’s lost 90 pounds in a relatively short time, and will say nothing other than the fact that he’s used the Quick Weight Loss Center to get the job done.
He says he’s on 1500 calories a day, but doesn’t talk about how much exercise he’s been doing. Anytime one of these celebs talks about fast weight loss I get a little nervous because it can easily give the wrong impression that losing weight is easy and quick. Lasting weight loss takes some …read more
Melissa Joan Hart’s New Bod

I’m not usually one to immediately applaud a celebrity when they’ve lost weight. In many ways, they have more help (with cleaning, cooking, not having a 9-5, and taking care of kids) and when you have those luxuries it’s easier to work out and eat healthy. But I caught this article on People about Melissa Joan Hart (the former Sabrina, the Teenage Witch star) and something she said really resonated with me.
She said that “There are enormous pressures put on you in Hollywood” when you give birth. She said people expect you to be back to a …read more

I haven’t posted a Question of the Week lately, so I thought I’d kick off this week with one. After I posted this note about Fergie yesterday, I stumbled across more news about Larry The Cable Guy losing weight with Nutrisystem. Larry The Cable Guy?! I have to honestly tell you I’m a little surprised.
