Ted Allen, host of Food Detectives and a frequent judge on Iron Chef America, has teamed up with Bank of America to provide a few tips for holiday cooking and entertaining:
Use food and other natural items for your centerpiece. Rather than buying flowers, there’s nothing prettier than a big bowl of lemons, apples, or other fruits and veggies. Other great ideas for table decoration are branches and autumn leaves, right from your own yard.

Sarah Carey Shows How to Make a Cheese Ball

In the video above, Sarah Carey, the food editor for Martha Stewart Living magazine, shares an easy cheese ball recipe that can be prepared three different ways. She starts with one base made from cream cheese and butter and then splits it into three different batches and adds additional ingredients and coatings for each one. She even gives you suggestions for what to serve with each ball.
The balls can be frozen for up to a month, so you can get started now and have a snack already made for the holidays!
